“Small in size, mighty in impact
– where every child is known, valued, and empowered to make a difference.”
At St Peter’s C of E Infant School, our size is not a limitation—it is one of our many strengths. With a maximum of 90 pupils, we are a small school with a mighty heart, and our commitment to courageous advocacy demonstrates that even the youngest voices can make a powerful difference in our world.
Being a Church school is central to who we are and how we live and learn together. Our Christian foundation gently shapes every part of school life—from the way we teach and learn, to the way we care for one another and serve our community. Rooted in the life and teachings of Jesus, and guided by the values of the Church of England, we aim to create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, loved, and encouraged to flourish.

We are proud to be part of the Southwark Diocesan family of schools, which supports and challenges us to offer an education that is both academically strong and deeply rooted in Christian values. This partnership helps us to continually reflect on and strengthen our Christian vision and practice, ensuring our school remains inclusive, life-giving, and aspirational for all.
Our close relationship with St Peter’s Church, Tandridge, and other local churches enriches our worship, Religious Education, and wider school life. These links provide meaningful opportunities for children to explore faith, ask big questions about life and meaning, and experience Christian traditions throughout the year. Together, we seek to live out our shared values in practical and purposeful ways.
As a Church school, we warmly welcome families of all faiths and none. Our aim is to create a loving, inclusive community where every child is supported to grow into a confident, thoughtful, and compassionate individual—ready to make a positive contribution to the world around them.
