St Peter’s School was inspected by Ofsted in July 2022. The school was judged to be a ‘Good school with many Outstanding features under the new inspection framework. Inspectors noted that:

“Pupils flourish at this nurturing school”

“Adults have high expectations of all pupils”

“The provision for personal development is exceptional and woven through all aspects of the school life”

“Pupils behave exceptionally well” “They enjoy coming to school” and “are kind and caring”.

Pupils become “confident, fluent readers quickly”

We are really proud of our school and are pleased that Ofsted have also recognised the attributes that make us such a wonderful learning environment. We will continue to work on ways to further improve the quality of teaching and learning for our children and look forward to the opportunities this will bring.

Ofsted – PARENT VIEW

Ofsted Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think of your child’s school, including:

– how happy your child is at school
– how the school manages bullying or challenging behaviour

If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), you can say how well you think the school supports them.

The questionnaire can be completed at any time – you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.
